GET TO PERFECTION

Jesus seems to have fun, sometimes with me, to become almost unattainable, elusive, demanding teacher. It's always all over my resistance and fears, my blocks and my doubts. Besides my acquisitions, as well as every goal achieved. When it seems that I arrived, I could stop and rest, He is there to say: have heard ... it was well said ... but I tell you (Mt 5, 17 - 37) . When you have done all that is commanded you, say: 'We are useless servants. We did what we had to do. (Lk 17, 10) With him, you can never, until the end, my ears heard the word that spurs me to ever higher goals: But I say ... in me Nothing can be static, but everything is dynamic , moving in progress: faith, prayer, conscience, morality.
During this time I'm experiencing a rising inner fermentation continues. I think no one can be considered a finished product, willingness to enjoy the car, be pleased with themselves. We are always on the way to the Promised Land. Everyone has a goal to reach that next to us but it seems that more and more away, as in climbing a mountain. God is greater than our heart (1 Jn 3, 20). All that has reference to him is infinite: faith, hope, charity, prayer, values, justice, conscience, spirituality, morality. Unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven (Mt 5, 20).
There is shown an intermediate goal to achieve but the ultimate goal, final You, therefore, perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect . (Mt 5, 47)
Not even a half measure but good measure, pressed down, shaken and running over (Lk 6, 38): perfection.
And not just any perfection but the perfection of God, the heavenly Father. And the holiness of God: Be holy for I the Lord your God, am holy (Lv 19, 21). Why are Christ and Christ is God (1 Cor 3, 23). We are called to overcome a continuous, a jump, to go beyond ourselves, to open up to light, truth and God
We are always at the dawn of the faith, and spirituality at the dawn of morality, always discovering the beauty of life.
Like children are wide open with excitement at the knowledge that goes beyond us, above us and above us. We want to know, know, see, hear what's on the other hand, in front of us, beyond us, above us. We are always the ABC of spirituality, love and morals, like Moses on Mount Nebo, to push the look far beyond the horizon, as well the visible, for a panoramic view of the Promised Land, to anticipate the meeting and contact in the heart, to embrace the dream of our life, for which our arms are never enough to embrace his greatness and his immensity. It is a dream that takes place over time, like a ball that unfolds gradually, which fills us, slowly, makes us experience the fullness but it is a partial fulfillment advances and grows, but never reaches the whole. chasing the fullness that is given to us in fragments, and draws us to it with ever increasing. As the deer longs for flowing streams, so my soul longs for you, O God My soul thirsts for God, the living God: when shall I come and see the face of God? (Ps 42, 2 - 3).
is a growing thirst increases, you can not ever turn it off.
We are always in travail, to create the beauty and grandeur of life: But I tell you ... pray the Holy Spirit and He will lead you where I am your Lord Jesus Christ want you.

VILLAROSA1761 and the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy

Garibaldi landed in Sicily, Villarosa arises
Villarosa mobilization for the cause of Garibaldi in the letter of the city committee of 1860
Almost a year ago at anniversary of the landing of a thousand, we published this article. Now we represent the first step to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy.
Above, we present the transcript of the letter sent by the city committee of Villarosa and following the aftermath of the uprising of the call of Garibaldi to Sicily to support the liberation of the island. Need money, but most ammunition. La Masa, Sicilian patriot, he joined the bands of insurgents attivatesi aftermath of the landing and was joined by the troops of General Garibaldi. They asked him to arrange the retrieval of what was useful to the cause of liberation of the island especially ammunition and weapons. La Masa sent a statement to the insurgents not common call to action. In reality, little was known about the magnitude of the number of countries that had arisen in the aftermath of the landing and this letter wanted to know the extent and stimulate new uprisings. This letter came also to Villarosa, where the uprising had taken place and the city committee took steps to recover the resources needed to be sent in support of Garibaldi's troops. The answer left May 30, 1860 by Calabrese, representing the city committee and is signed by Paul Glass secretary of the committee. The letter responds with a list of what has been available in the country, but we summarize the main events that had occurred in the country after Garibaldi landed at Marsala.
The letter in question is part of documents collected in the volume Some facts and documents of the revolution of 1860 in southern Italy Di Giuseppe La Masa, Giuseppe Garibaldi, published in Turin in 1861. A document to read to remember and know our history and our country.

What Is The Meaning Of Tender Breasts

ROME THE CITY 'OF EMOTIONS ...

Hello dear friends of the blog, here I am back from the Eternal City (Rome). I experienced moments of excitement. The emotions are very important because they stimulate my creativity, I suggest images, situations, even color and pains ... but sometimes the emotions become limits, for example, an observation that others give me, a comment that I disagree. This stops me, it causes an emotional reaction. However I can say that my life is imbued in some way determined by emotions. The same inspiration for my songs, words and music, born of emotion, sometimes looking for, sometimes you arrive. And the music is first and foremost, the His plays, especially when excited to join the music to prayer. There are times that I am aware that it is undignified to let go, but it certainly helps to live better, sometimes it is better to throw it out, do not control their emotions and expressions in full, at the risk of appearing ridiculous or insane and thus avoid to internalize and might suffer without being able to express ourselves. I feel free to express my emotions. The thing that excites me more than ever is being with my Lord, I am so excited to be with him when his gaze of love is projected toward me overcome all my fears. It is He who gave me a gift this almost overwhelming joy "madness" of love. He says:

Rekindle the gift of God that is within you (2 Tim 1: 6) Jesus teaches us to discover and to 'use the gifts God has given us. He calls them talents. Today we call them gifts. Certainly each of us is a container for gifts - perhaps even unexplored and unknown even to ourselves - like Mary who is "the seat of wisdom, temple of the Holy Spirit, eternal glory tabernacle, the sanctuary of the divine presence" but you only knew "humble servant" of the Lord All of us should ask ourselves: What does the jar of my existence? Sometimes there are others who are aware of our gifts.

But it is important and fundamental to our spiritual dimension to know and recognize the gifts that God has given us because from there begins a journey of gratitude, praise and thanksgiving: a journey of the Eucharist, "Benedict are You, Lord, God of the universe, we have received from your hands ... I present to you ...
The discovery of our gifts we put in proper perspective: things are not ours, but by our own merits God, of His hands.
Each of us must discover how God's gift to whether himself to the world, their loved ones and those who benefit from our services made possible by our gifts that grow in us as we spend for them.
The gift is to recognize and discover God, His power, His power, His holiness. In the face of His gifts we fall on your knees and take off your shoes, in the adoration of His greatness and His glory. already seeing God's work is a gift: Moses saw the burning bush, we see the finger of God upon us, the work of His hands, the traces of His glory and His divinity.
The see it puts us in a state of awe and wonder and we say that the four living Apocalypse: Holy, holy, holy , the Lord
God the Almighty, the One who was, is and who is . And with us four elders fell down and worshiped One who lives forever and ever saying. You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for Thou hast created all things, and by Your will they were created and there (Rev 4, 8 - 11).
our gifts become a scale that introduces us to the wonder, and praise and gives us a glimpse of the wonders of God
us to discover His greatness and His goodness.
It makes us to experience His Holiness.
we say: You only the Holy One, You alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High God ... Lord of the universe, the heavens and earth are full of Your glory proclaim your death, Lord, we proclaim your resurrection.
Sometimes we are more inclined to see what we lack, rather than half-empty bottle to enjoy what we have.
Our commitment and our responsibility lie in be guided by the gifts, and gifts to God to expansion of the gifts, their multiplication and dissemination, to fill the world the gifts of God "are pale the best man's dreams." (Elizabeth Barret Browning)
and go through our gifts from the contemplation of gift of God which is the other and that is in the contemplation of God
and contemplate Jesus as the gift of the Father: image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: for by through him were created all things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible ... All things were created through him and for him. He is before all things and in him all things hold together ... For God was pleased to do all the fullness dwell in him.
(Col 1, 15 - 19)
With the gift of faith you can also come to the paradox of how a gift of suffering and testing: you have been granted the grace not only to believe in Christ, but also to suffer for him .
(Phil. 1, 29)
The Gift received and acknowledged us and teaches us to open a gift. Makes us a gift and a gift becomes all that we have. Every gift then is the way to the discovery of other gifts. Every gift is not alone, but opens the door to a succession of gifts.
In faith there is nothing more than the gift.

Simple Decorations For 75th Church Anniversary

PRAYER NIGHT ...

A client of mine who is blind went up the stairs of his house, to go into the bedroom. I was struck by his ability to penetrate the darkness and to walk until you find the "light". He showed me the darkness like a container of light, a spiny sea urchin that leads into a delicious fruit.

the Me ' presented as a picture of the night, the guide leads the light of day. The dark, the night became pregnant places of prayer. I thought the biblical encounters in the night, ' most striking example offers it to Sam who can capture the delicate voices of the night. From the Bible draw the voices, the sounds, sights and night meetings, and find out how the night becomes a special time in prayer and spiritual experiences. In prayer I need the master. They are like children who need to be taken by the hand to be conducted at ' meeting and the discovery of the Father, the green pasture of prayer. Jesus is the ' our only master, the giant of the prayer, the great master to imitate and follow. He amazes me in particular the meaning and significance of the night as the place, special time, the mother of silence and prayer. For me it is a world yet to be discovered, its density, its company, its significance. Discover the dark, live in, penetrate, as we jump into the desert. Enter the silence of the night, to go beyond the threshold of silence and darkness of the night. I do not know yet the treasures, pearls and precious wealth of the night. So many people live at night, fun, familiar with the night. It is sad to think that most Christians spend a good part of the night to follow television programs often express empty of content, effective expression of emptiness and nothingness. It is very sad to think that they can become couch potatoes. You just have to prove that you're better off making less spiritually. We people 'Order is made' We have reduced the spiritual life to " deal " be addressed during the day while there is a whole part of the life-time to discover, too ' it as God's time for God also to imitate and learn from Jesus praying at night, who spent his nights in prayer. In this period of my training is said to have a life "regulated" - but the night is so disconnected and taken out of the spiritual experiences and powerful moments of faith alive. I have not had the opportunity to play the complementary and alternative night time, maybe you spend in prayer in the churches. A ccettate the two great nights of Easter and Christmas, the liturgy has vacated our nights. Fortunately, there are the Disciples of the Divine Master (sisters) who develop this very dimension of prayer at night. Anch ' I said that I could only sleep at night and now, at a certain age I feel the need and I would say the duty to go beyond the darkness of night but it is all a way to start having difficulty. You can be born again when you are older? How-to at a certain age to overturn habits? But we can continue to be satisfied only day of prayer? It would be interesting to talk together and share needs and difficulties. The night is as empty as our hearts. Could be depicted as an empty vessel that needs to be filled with prayer and spiritual experiences, to discover a continent; an archaeological site to explore and bring to light. Like Moses, we arrive at the end of life, barely on Mount Nebo, from which we come out to the distant vision of the Promised Land. God is always ' beyond what I see, hear and touch, a world far from reach. The night also expressed many of our experiences and deprivation spiritual. We cry to the Lord filled the night of my heart, my dark, my silence.
