Synergeyes Multifocal Not Working

LENT 2011

" O God, our Father, grant to Christians

to start with this fast

a journey of true conversion,

to deal successfully

with weapons of penance

combat

against the spirit of evil. "

This year, on my journey towards the Easter let me lead the hand of the daily liturgy, gathering as it gives me.

Be careful, therefore, it suggests the Church, the prayers which I speak, sometimes, so routine and distracted, I let the sap of genuine Christian faith and invigorate my steps enlarges my heart.

I feel the urge to go to the source to let me renew my faith, to welcome the Light authentic, that can enlighten my steps. Let me start with the Collect of Ash Wednesday, which, in its simple beauty, opens the doors of my Christian spirituality and helps me to be worship in spirit and truth. (Gv.4, 24)

What it means to live Lent? What does it mean conversion time, greater commitment and hope, recovery, control?

If you look carefully, the beginning of this first Lenten Prayer feel like it raises a cry for help and confidence " grant to the Christian people" .

First, are invited to take up the my life, to present it as a Passover sacrifice to the Father and ask Him to enable us to confidently support this effort , to preserve and strengthen me in this path of consecrated life, because: " in Your light we see light" and one who calls me, gives me the strength to walk, He draws me, supports me in trouble 's go to Him

Lent , therefore, before still be the time of conversion, such as human effort, is the time of God's loving initiative, is time to renew my plea with the words of the Psalmist: "tell me:" I am your salvation. '"(Sal.35.3)

Lent , is a time of conversion, which begins with a cry of hope because the conversion is a journey of faith He who trusts in me, us, renewing his love for me, for us, who used to work wonders of our nothingness.

pay, therefore, ardent attention to what we say to the Lord and what the liturgy invites us to say as a Christian community.

Our Christian prayer is solid food for our feet and all the brothers and sisters who walk with us.

Every day,

say, with Ephrem the Syrian:

"O Jesus,

that you opened your eyes

of Bartimaeus,

thou hast opened his eyes become blind

against his will, open, Lord,

eyes, that our will

we made blind

as your grace may abound "

my daily prayer has the natural taste of the charity, which "bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things" 1 Corinthians 12.7

Good way and Easter to you all, leaving tap God's loving initiative forward with confidence and joy in your heart, your Giuseppe Ficarra
